Groups in Common

The Groups in Common feature helps users see shared groups with a selected contact. By opening the Info Panel from the chat, users can find a list of mutual groups, including their names and icons. Clicking on a group allows quick access to its chat, making collaboration easier.

Navigate to the Chat View

Option 1: Through the Marketplace

  • Navigate to the Marketplace. Click the Profile Picture from the left-side panel. Click on the Chat Tab. The Chat Page will appear.

Option 2: Using the Message icon

  • Click the Message icon in the top-right corner. The icon displays the number of unread messages. Click on the Chat View button to open the chat. The Chat Page will appear.

Option 3: Through the menu icon

  • Click the menu icon in the top-right corner. Scroll down and select the Message icon. The Chat Page will appear.

Access Groups in common

  • Click on a user to check the groups you share. The chat body will be filled with the chat history, including both saved and unsaved messages. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the chat body.

  • Alternatively, click the name of the room or the person you are chatting with at the top of the chat body to open the Info Panel.

  • A dropdown will appear with options: Info, Select Message, Mute, Clear Chat, and Delete Chat. Click the Info button to access the chat information.

  • Inside the Info Panel, scroll down to find the Groups in Common section. The section lists all groups where both you and the selected user are members.

  • You will see the group name, icon, and total number of shared groups.

Interact with Common Groups

  • Click on any listed group to navigate directly to that group’s chat.

  • If the group is private, access will only be granted if the user is a member
