This guide provides a structured approach to managing content for both On-Demand and Live Courses. It covers manual editing, AI-assisted generation, and the specific structural rules required for platform compliance.

On-Demand Course Management

Populating Chapter 1 and Beyond

  1. Access the Content Section

    • Click on the Content section from the navigation menu. A slide-in animation will transition the view.

    • Click on the three-dot (⋯) menu located on the right side of a lecture title and select the Edit option.

    • Alternative: Click the Yellow Button at the top-right corner of the side panel to expand the full view of existing chapters and lectures.

    • A pop-up panel will appear, providing configuration options.

  2. Open the Introduction Chapter

    • Under the Chapter section, locate the Introduction element (Chapter 1). The name is editable.

    • Upon opening, you will see five pre-created lectures, each with a prefilled name including the lecture number.

    • Tip: You can directly rename a chapter from the content section by hovering over the name with your mouse.

  3. Editing from the Side Panel

    • Click the three-dot (⋯) menu in the row of a specific lecture and select Edit.

    • A pop-up will open on the right, expanding builder sections and the preview panel. Here, you can:

      • Edit the Lecture Title.

      • Assign a Subject or create a new one.

      • Edit the Thumbnail (defaults to the course thumbnail).

      • Upload a Video.

      • Add a Description.

      • Attach Files (Maximum of 5 attachments).

    • Click the Save button within the lecture pop-up to apply changes.

    • Reorder: Lectures can be dragged and dropped to change their sequence.

    • Expand: Use the (+) button to add new chapters and repeat the process to populate them.


AI-Assisted Course Creation (On-Demand)

CAUTION: Ensure the course shell has been created before attempting to generate content using AI.

Configure AI Content Creation

  1. Open Course Creation Panel

    • Navigate to the Course Builder.

    • In the top header of the content section, click the purple Create with AI button.

  2. Set Up Course Details

    • Generate Thumbnail with AI?: Toggle the switch to ON to automate the course visual.

    • Select Categories with AI?: Toggle to ON to allow the AI to assign relevant tags.

    • Course Level: Choose from the dropdown (default is Beginner).

    • Course Description: Provide text (maximum 500 characters).

  3. Configure Structure and Subjects

    • Chapters Count: Adjust using the (-) or (+) buttons.

    • Generate Lecture Thumbnails: Toggle to ON for automated lesson visuals.

    • Assign Subject: Add an existing subject from Subject Areas or create a new one directly.

    • Teacher Assignment: Select specific study levels and assign a teacher. If the teacher is not a member, they will be automatically invited.

    • Note: If a subject is used in multiple courses, changes made to it will sync across all associated courses.

  4. Finalize Generation

    • Click the Generate button at the bottom.

    • Once successfully generated, you can access and further edit the course from the Course Management page.


Live Course Management

Scheduling and Configuration

  1. Access the Live Course Panel

    • Navigate to the Content section.

    • Click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to a lecture title and select Edit.

  2. Schedule the Session

    • Modify the Chapter Title and Lecture Title (for example: Chapter 2, Lecture 1).

    • Define a specific Time or enable All Day mode.

    • Set Recurrence: Choose if the lecture repeats (weekly, monthly, etc.) or is a one-time event.

  3. Manage Participants and Location

    • Assign Host: Default is set to 1. You may add Co-Hosts or Guests via the Add Member icon.

    • Set Location: Enter a physical or virtual address for the session.

    • Description & Attachments: Enter details (max 500 characters) and upload up to 5 reference files.

  4. Calendar Integration

    • Click on a Calendar icon to insert the event into other spaces.

    • Select the desired Space and Calendar, then Confirm.


AI-Assisted Creation (Live Course)

Configuration Steps

  • Launch Generator: Click the purple button with the Stars Icon in the Course Builder header.

  • Describe Course: Select level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) and enter the description.

  • Structure:

    • Set Chapters Count and Lectures Per Chapter.

    • Lecture Duration: Set the time (default: 45 minutes).

    • Generate Lecture Thumbnails: Toggle ON for AI-generated visuals.

  • Subject Logic: If a Subject is selected, the "Lectures per Chapter" option disappears as the AI adapts to the subject's requirements.

  • Generate: Click the Generate button. The system will prompt you if any required fields are missing.


Advanced AI Scheduling & Availability

AI scheduling now considers Teacher Availability to prevent organizational conflicts.

Smart Scheduling Flow

  1. Organization Setup: Ensure the teacher is verified, added to the space, and assigned to the relevant courses.

  2. Launch AI Prompt Generator: Go to Course Settings > Content and fill in the description, chapters, and duration.

  3. Conflict Resolution: The AI factors in all teacher events (including recurring personal events) to ensure no overlaps occur.

  4. Verification: View the Teacher’s Calendar and enable the course filter to visualize the "Smart Intervals" where one course ends precisely before the next begins.


Organizing Content: Drag & Drop

  1. Within Chapters: Click and drag any lecture to a new vertical position. The preview reflects changes instantly.

  2. Across Days: Move lectures to different dates by dragging them between time slots in the builder.

  3. Across Chapters: Drag lectures between different chapters to restructure the course while maintaining schedule integrity.

  4. Save: Always click the Save button to apply the final layout.


Deletion Rules and Procedures

Structural Constraints

  • Mandatory Chapter: The first chapter for both Live and On-Demand courses is mandatory and cannot be deleted.

  • Minimum Content: A minimum of 5 lectures is required in the first chapter.

  • Deletion Rights: In Chapter 1, you can only delete lessons starting from Lesson 6 onward.

How to Delete a Lesson

  • Method One: Hover over the lecture title and click the Radio Button on the far right. Click Delete in the action bar that appears.

  • Method Two: In the side panel, click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to the lecture and select Delete.

How to Delete a Chapter

  • Method One: Hover over the chapter title, select the Radio Button on the far right, and click Delete in the action bar.

  • Method Two: In the side panel, click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to the chapter (excluding Chapter 1) and select Delete.
