Navigate to Course or Space from Chat Info Panel

This guide explains how to quickly navigate from a chat view to the associated course or space using the Go to location button found in the chat info panel. This feature streamlines navigation and enhances context switching while working within chat-based workflows.
Navigate to the Chat View
Option 1: Through the right-side panel:
Navigate to the Marketplace. Click the Profile Picture from the right-side panel. Click on the Chat Tab. The Chat Page will appear.
Option 2: Using the Message icon:
Click the Message icon in the top-right corner. The icon displays the number of unread messages. Click on the Chat View button to open the chat. The Chat Page will appear.
Go to the Associated Course or Space
Select the Chat
From your chat list, click on the desired course or space chat to open the conversation.Access the Chat Details
Inside the info panel, locate the course or space information at the top (including the name and image).Click the Three-Dot Menu
Click the three-dot (⋯) icon found on the course or space header card within the Info Panel.Select “Go to location”
From the dropdown menu, click Go to location.
This will instantly navigate you to the associated Course, Folder, or Space page.
NOTE
This feature works for course-level chats, space-level conversations, and folder-based discussions.
If the course or space is private, you’ll only be redirected if you’re a member.
The “Go to location” button appears only if the chat is linked to a valid resource.
