Course Members

This guide provides a comprehensive overview for managing course members within the Members section of the Course Builder. It covers multiple workflows, including:

  • Inviting members manually or via a link

  • Assigning and changing roles

  • Managing cycles for live courses

  • Removing members

Users can search for, assign, and update roles such as Teacher, Attendant, or Observer. It also explains the difference between inviting users to all course cycles or a single cycle.

Pre-requisites are needed:

Members must first be invited to the space before being invited as a member to the course

Invite Members

Assign Users and Send Invitation

  • Click on the Course Card to open the Course Builder. Scroll down to the Members section at the bottom.

  • The Add User button (icon) will be visible. Click the Add User button.

  • Use the search field to find users from the course space. Select a role from the dropdown (Teacher or Attendant).

  • Click the Invite button to send invitations via email and notifications. Return to the Course Builder to view invited users and their statuses.

NOTE: Supervisors and Coordinators automatically inherit the Observer role.


Managing Cycles (Live Courses Only)

Access the Cycles

  • Click on the course card to open the Course Builder. Scroll down to the Members section to manage and view enrolled users.

  • The Cycles Dropdown next to X Members displays all course cycles. Click the dropdown to see available cycles.

  • All Start Dates → Invites the member to all cycles with the assigned role.

  • A Single Cycle → Invites the member only to that cycle.

Invite Members via Link

Generate and Share the Invitation Link

  • Click on the course card to open the Course Builder. Scroll down to the Members section. Click the Add User icon in the Members section.

  • In the pop up click on the Invite via Link and choose a role (Teacher or Attendant) for the invited user.

  • Copy the generated invitation link. A confirmation message will appear. Share the link with the recipient, who can accept it and join the course.

Change Member's Role

  • Click on the course card to open the Course Builder.

  • Scroll down to the Members section and find the user in the Members list.

  • Use the role selector next to their name to change their role (for example: Teacher, Attendant or Observer). The new role updates immediately.

Removing Members

  • Click on the Course Card to open the Course Builder. Scroll down to the Members section and find the user in the Members list.

  • Click the three dots next to their name. Select Remove from the dropdown. The user will be immediately removed from the course.
